Haoma Worgwu hosts Industry Leaders and corporate professionals at The Maiden Edition of The Light Conference in Grand Style
23-year-old young lady- Haoma Worgwu, brings together industry experts and leaders to host the maiden edition of The Light Conference- A Global Summit of Kingdom Entrepreneurs, Corporate Professionals, and Changemakers.
On August 26th, 2023, the world witnessed a momentous gathering at the exquisite Freude’s Place in Maryland, Lagos State, at the maiden edition of The Light Conference. Themed “Like Stars on Earth,” this year’s edition transcended borders, uniting visionaries both physically and virtually.
The conference physically brought together over 250 industry leaders, experts, and young professionals from various sectors of the economy, with virtual participants joining from Germany, Kenya, the UK, and various corners of the world. They convened for an experience that left an indelible mark.
The conference was hosted by a 23-year-old young lady named Haoma Worgwu, who is popularly known as the LinkedIn queen due to the impact she has had on helping thousands of professionals gain visibility and career opportunities on LinkedIn. She is also a recognized member of LinkedIn’s marketing insider network.
Like the renowned TED Conferences, the Light Conference featured “Light Talks” from industry luminaries. These Transformational Talks, delivered by global figures, aim to dispel darkness, ignorance, and problems in every sector, one talk at a time.
Abigail Barnes, a UK time management expert, shared strategies to tackle time management and conquer procrastination in her talk, “The Timely Star.” Foluke Michael, a United Nations SDG Award winner, enlightened attendees with her talk on “The Global Star.” Sola Adesakin, a renowned member of the Forbes Coaches Council and personal finance expert, took the stage with her talk on “The Financially Buoyant Star.”
In addition, Funto Ibuoye, CEO of Five 28 Interiors and visionary behind Recalibrate Academy, shared insights on “The Kingdom Star on a Mission.” Dr. Tochukwu McFoy, known as Dr. Foy, CEO of Energize Music, discussed “Using Media to Intensify Your Light.” and Bolu Okunade, CEO of Zee Realty, illuminated the path to “Making Wealth in Your Mourning.”
The conference also hosted two Mountain of Influence panel sessions, bringing together experts to represent various sectors of the economy: Abolaji Adeola, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative House, representing the Government sector. Temilade Salami, founder of EcoChampions and Chevening Scholar, represents the Environment sector. Miss Techy, a popular VFX video creator, represented the Technology sector.
Mrs. Funke Akinrinmade, CEO of Cedar Wood School and Cassia School, represented the Education sector. Ife MOJ, singer of the popular gospel song “AYO,” represented the Entertainment sector. Funto Ibuoye, CEO of Five 28 Global, stood for the Business sector. Flourish Ubanyi, an international journalist and host of The Shining Light Show, and Godwin Ibok, a previous Growth Marketer at Selar, both represented the Media sector.
In a double celebration, the conference also launched Haoma Worgwu’s inspiring book, “Morning Star: Discover Your Uniqueness, Shine Your Light, and Stand Out in a Noisy World.” This book is set to guide readers on their journey to discovering and embracing their uniqueness in their various sectors, empowering them to shine brightly and solve problems with their solutions.
Haoma Worgwu, the conference’s convener, passionately declared that every participant at the Light Conference is being released to their sectors of influence to solve regional and global problems while establishing God’s glory on earth. “You cannot leave the Light Conference and remain local,” she emphasized.
