Mag Nanimous is a Nigerian indigenous rapper and a graphics designer who has been representing the Ibibio tribe by showcasing their heritage to the world through music.

His real name is Ofonime Ralph Obot, He is from Etinan and was born in March 4th, 1996.

He started music in 2018 and was nominated for the Uyo Best Art Award in 2019 which he came out as best rapper of the year.

Mag Nanimous had shut down the arena  of several Resorts in Port Harcourt and Uyo, including Tilapia Island Resort, Abak, with two massive events he tagged “Xmas Eve” and “Super Eve” in 2019 and 2021 respectively; bringing on stage the likes of Ikpa Udo, Okpo records and Zillions Dondada all together in the two events. 

Being consistent in afro pop music; he has done a couple of tracks with Doublegee; From The Mheat, Ndodo Sure, We dey work, Ajen Annang, Images, We Dey Hustle, to Straight Ahead, and a couple of other tracks featuring Zillions Dondada and other top artistes.

 

After a short break from the music sphere in 2023, the multi-talented Ibibio rap maestro, Mag Nanimous returned with a petition to God.

The new masterpiece soundtrack captioned “Nam Do” drew the attention of God back to the promises He had made as recorded in the Holy Bible, in Isaiah 45:2-3.

As unique as it sounds, “Nam Do” is another great music, coming from Mag Nanimous.

He gave a refined rendition on the record, showcasing his talent and creativity, putting in much energy with a tone of plea, yet a hardcore gospel rap, sure to captivate his listeners out there who love good music with meaningful lyrics.
